We had some serious fun shooting this. Beethy and I are massive fans of The Incredibles, so we really wanted to do the movie some justice.
The costume itself was extremely easy to make. I couldn't afford thigh-high boots so I mimicked the look by sewing in black PVC thigh-high socks into the outfit and wore PVC heels I already had. Free and easy
I've also had quite a few questions about how I made the mask. It's made out of Worbla, with a layer of spare PVC I had lying around. If you'd like to make your own mask, make up a paper template of the mask you desire, then trace on Worbla and fabric [optional]. Use a heat gun to set the two together, then while it's still soft, place it on your face and shape. Careful it's not too hot! Set and hold until it's cooled down, then you're ready to go!
I use latex/eyelash glue to keep it stuck on my face.
Everyone's had the chance to already see this pic on Beethy's page, including the game developers from Disney! I just wanna say here that I'm extremely grateful for all the kind words that everyone has sent us. You guys are awesome. <3
