Cosplaying this was a challenge- no thanks to the weather. It was sosososososo cold..... But I was still happy.
The costume came together great, and I had alot of fun wearing it. The armour was made from Worbla's Finest Art. Swords were made from a mix of Worbla, a wooden base, fimo air clay and craft foam. The spikes were ridiculously sharp... I don't know how I didn't get into trouble at PAX haha!
Ben sewed many photos together to get this shot, and he did a fantastic job.
Hope we did Katarina justice!
The weaponry looks well constructed and detailed and reflects the chunkiness shown in much of the artwork I've seen. The armour also looks well made and detailed. Overall the costume seems accurate and as the model you make it look stunning. I'm guessing in reality the outfit would probably be leather, rather than PVC (if that's what you used) but the effect is much the same and my only real criticism is the lack of detailing (carving/tooling) on the bodice which appears in the artwork, although it possibly wouldn't have shown up in this picture anyway unless at a very high resolution. I don't know if the character always has the torso tattoo, but I think that would have added a dash of style to the image, elegant though your physique is. The scar over your eye seems rather small; it should be more visible in the hi-res of this image but only really looks like a design in the eye shadow. It's perhaps a shame in this particular image that one can't see that your hair is long, but that's hardly a criticism.
The picture as a whole makes for an excellent character portrait; you look very sexy and also dangerous, appearing relaxed and unflustered by the threat of whatever opponent you are facing. This picture would make a great screen wallpaper or wall print and shows superb work by both photographer and cosplayer.
You're easily my favorite Katarina ^^
And very well done cosplay. An amazing photography as well!
I`m in love <3
