| Cosplay has been a huge part in my life, especially of recent. It became a way for me to explore an almost dormant creative side of me, and I've met alot of amazing and inspiring individuals along the way. It also has become a way of escaping the burdens of reality, where sometimes my own life is a bit too much to take. In many ways, cosplay is my therapy. As of recent I have decided to up my skills and become a more well-known cosplayer, not just for my costumes, but for my attitude. I feel that the true meaning of cosplay has been lost through child-like antics and 4chan, where an 'image' is all that matters. True cosplayers don't look- they see. My goal is to bring back the fun and carefree attitudes in this complex hobby, yet strive young talent to push themselves and unlock new abilities. |
